Zarel is an old friend of Pter from the land of Reptillia. He is a Windragoon, and as his name suggests, he's a dragon and can control wind. When he was meeting the cast, he found Fang's ability to dismantle himself impressive (there's a first) and had wished for it too. Cody then had to do his most grueling task ever, to take Zarel apart and implant the same technology used on Fang into Zarel's body. Cody says it was the toughest thing he's ever done, but he's glad it's over and done with. The only difference is that two of Zarel's detachable areas are his upper and lower bodies, so...he's like if you took Husk and Fang and put them together and...wait...huh? Zarel, personality-wise, is completely like Owen of TDI, but less flatulent. He ''has'' been known to break wind a few times.

It is hinted Zarel will be appearing in the second season of [[Total Drama Island: Bluefox Productions Edition]].
