Dan Peterson (sometimes referred to as “Good Deal Dan”) is just an average guy living in Free Country USA. He is about average height and weight, and is pretty decent looking. He was born on April 26, 1992. He normally wears a red t-shirt, blue pants, black sneakers, and a checkered wristband. He owns a lot of band shirts, including some well-known ska bands like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suburban_Legends| Suburban Legends] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reel_Big_Fish| Reel Big Fish], and some other bands like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plain_white_t%27s| Plain White T’s] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_the_kings| We The Kings]. He also sometimes wears an [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Aquabats| Aquabats] hat.

Dan plays the alto saxophone and is even known to sing sometimes. It’s just one of his hobbies, but he sometimes imagines himself playing in a ska band and touring FCUSA. Those days might be far off, but he still dreams big. He also enjoys other hobbies like drawing, playing video games, quadding, and filming. Though he doesn’t have as big dreams for these as he does for music, he still enjoys doing them with his friends.

Dan is best friends with [[User:Good Deal Dan/Characters/Present Day/Pete|Pete Skarr]], and it’s been that way since they were little. He sometimes refers to Pete as his “blonde brother” and considers him part of the family. They get into plenty of zany adventures that sometimes lead to getting them in trouble with other citizens of FCUSA. Pete is known to best Dan at a couple of things, like quadding and video games, but it doesn’t interfere with their friendship.

Dan also has one known sibling; [[User:Good Deal Dan/Characters/Present Day/Alfonzo|Alfonzo Peterson]], his twin brother. Dan and Alfonzo, aside from looking alike and liking the same kind of music, have very little in common. Dan is much more outgoing than Alfonzo, but Alfonzo is clearly smarter. Nevertheless, they get along fairly well, aside from a few disagreements.
