Brought up by hippy parents, Fran considers herself an &quot;activist&quot;, although she hasn't been seen protesting or really being active. Years later, she came to Pleasantview to go to the university. There is where she met [[The SkullB Show/chara/casey|Casey]], and the two were friends from then on. Surprisingly, she only met [[The SkullB Show/chara/jerry|Jerry]] years later, when she moved in next door.<br /> <br /> Fran isn't quite the most popular with the other characters--sort of the Elly or Meg of the series. In fact, she went unnoticed when she went on vacation for a couple episodes.
