Stop saying that the reopening of Fanstuff will cause this place to stop being awful. This is incorrect for a variety of reasons.
* The WUW really is just the awful dump of the Fanstuff wiki, it's where everything grody and crappy goes
* The original plan was to have this place remain terrible and the Fanstuff flourish, not the other way around
* Even if disgusting pigs go to the Fanstuff, they're implementing a new innovation: quality control!
* I really can't stress enough how awful this place is and you should stop thinking that the disease it has come down with is curable, because it isn't.

Super Sam, I must be truthful. I don't really see the point of this promotion. Half, if not more, of the active users here are mods. If there's something going on that we can't fix, we can easily contact a sysop and they'll eventually get to it. Giving us extra powers is like giving citizens access to nuclear. It'll lose its prominence and everyone will destroy the place. I don't know whether or not you want that, and I'm afraid to find out. But for now, I'm just suggesting that you halt the upgrade until there's enough users to make it a real problem. {{User:JCM/sig}} 20:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
