'''Personality and Background:''' Harold, or Takegawa as he prefers to be called, is half Japanese - his father travelled to America from Japan. Skeptical of America and its politics for most of his life, he is now unable to leave thanks to the government's new laws and his boyfriend, Leon, was convicted of sodomy. Out to avenge him and hopefully leave some day, he is a fairly prominent figure in the Resistance given he houses several unmonitored servers used by its more technologically inclined members in the branch's headquarters.

'''Personality and background:''' Previously a professor of biology at the local university, he was fired without warning after giving a lecture on evolution. Having a bone to pick and little else to do but pack shopping bags and twiddle his thumbs, he joined the Resistance very recently. Despite what happened to him, unlike most of the others he still has a little faith in the US government and those of the rest of the world. Of a fairly nervous disposition, Joshua does not like fighting at all and tries to remain a pacifist as far as possible.
